the folks at Virtual London in SL are having a party in Real London, It's been a while since we last met, and we thought it'd be a good idea to join the folks at The Greyhound for a catch up. Directions below... **** Situated in Second Life, opposite the SL and RL Daily Mail building in Derry Street, it’s as much part of the virtual furniture of London as the real one is. Run by the same staff in both worlds it often hosts real world and virtual world cross-over events and entertains real and virtual workers and locals from the Kensington area. Back on track, we're meeting again our avatars fleshy counterparts on Wednesday the 23rd at T-Bar.. Next meeting line up includes: - Joja Dhara connecting live from the brand new Amsterdam Virtual Worlds MeetUp, telling us more about the dutch virtual scene (http://www.jojadhar - Giannina Rossini will talk about the Sloodle, giving us an overview of the project, a bit of history, a tiny glimpse of the tools that are available and a review of the Sloodle Moot conference recently held in Second Life http://www.sloodle.o - Ditzy Banjo will tell us more about his new virtual media-art work: Parsec http://nwn.blogs.com - and I will finally introduce Myrl, a social network for avatars from multiple virtual worlds http://www.myrl.com; That's it. We are a bunch of Virtual Worlds users and want to meet up with people who like the same things we do: finding out about new cool stuff in Second Life, There.com, HipiHi, Kaneva, Imvu and other Worlds, exchanging tips and tricks, discussing new ideas and projects, finding new business partners and having a good time. We will meet once a months and have some times presentations from companies, or Virtual Worlds projects. Program: Hi all 1.
