Welcome to 2007, the year of SL! Over 2 million members and we are approaching the 1 million in the last 60 day mark! 2006 was a starter year for us (Seattle SL group that is) and we now have a pretty large list of members. "Why would people in physical proximity in RL want to meet about SL where this just doesn't matter?" This was a question I was asked by a Seattle Times reporter recently. Is the balance between RL and SL meetup locations working or not? Do people like Madrona Eatery, should we vary the location, should we go totally virtual? Should we try to actually do something vs. chatting. Let's get together to discuss what this group should try to accomplish in 2007. I'll throw out a date and we can go from there.
