- I'm a partner in 3DE, LLC, a start-up that intends to use SL to deliver immersive 3D content in RL. I was Academic Director of the now-defunct UCB, 3D CAVE. I'm a long-time professor at CU (and ex-CIO) with a research background in the visual system.

Our company 3D Embodiment (3DE, LLC) intends to use SL to deliver 3d immersive visualization content in RL, using passive stereo techniques. We own a private island in SL where we are doing development work, and a small, office site on the mainland.
